The thing about rainfall

if it’s up, then it’s up
but when it comes crashing
hard on roofs without remorse
nobody should dare to challenge
for heels would touch heads.

palms would scramble for warmth
tongues, bodies, duvets
everybody gets to work
it’s free and it’s for all
who have been blessed to be CEO

turn the volume down
let your excitement blow off
out of the roof, hit a cloud
after every match strike
