The thing about rainfall

she adorns herself
with slim long robes
and flows with a scent
fresher than morning dew
calmer than blue

she announces her presence
on roofs,
on grounds,
on skins, and
with thunder strikes.

whenever she cries,
bodies will collide
lives will be reflected upon
new ideas will be born;
a stranger, friend and foe
