Humanity is a race like the Negroid and Caucasian
A tribe like the Igbo and Yoruba, Nivajo and Chippewa
an American speaks English,
an Indian speaks Hindi,
A human speaks love.
different tongues yet one voice
Though we are been born into it
but it is our choice to belong
and carry the identity of humanity,
and wear compassion as our culture
The continent of humanity is in the heart
Our foreheads do not bear our names
so why would the colour of our skins
define glory or shame,
Our Identity is not a card.
