There is a God I crave to see.
Every night I pray for that day be.
When He would walk into the room
And sit on the bed staring at me,
With gentleness in His eyes.
Then my whole being will melt down
Like wax before a blazing fire.
As I drop down to kiss His feet
Staring back into His eyes
And my tears would roll like water holding a boat
“What do you want?”
If you are hungry I will be the bread for you to eat
If you ever thirst I will be the water for you to drink
If you are cold I will be a consuming fire to heat
if you are sober I will be the wine to get you drunk
