In the past
I was apathetic
As long as my needs met me
When I summoned them
Care for my country was void.

Now,
My place is unknown
I’m relearning things I learnt wrong
I cannot tell right from wrong
It is a process

In the future
I want to be patriotic enough
To not deny my country from shame
To not curse her and her captains
To build her.
