It’s in all of these

darkness lies in their light
so they wander in frail emotions
to them, every word is a wave of the sword
they wear their eyes a lens of choices
and adorn their lips with sentiments
their ears choose what is right
leaving their brains not to see lies
another’s is tagged imprecise
they become an embodiment of shame
standing on a fence without a name
they wear a mask that reveals their face
they have the pace yet can’t run their race
they are the guardians of what is wrong
they know the lyrics to every played song
and there’s always a reference to run to
to back their blindness and unwillingness
to open their hearts to learn, to know
that life is a seed that we live to sow
until it’s time for our boats to row,
avoid them every time you can
learn to stand where you speak
and carefully climb until you reach your peak
