i killed a bird
it was not in the sky
it was supposed to fly
it wasn’t meant to die
it was hit
it disappeared
maybe it flew
maybe then it knew
it was meant to fly
it was meant for the sky
it wasn’t meant to die
but it was hit
and then it flew
without its feathers
without its soul
with its whole
it disappeared
