Mum and Dad are the presence in the wind
I admired their love for good living
They would say, “eat well so when sickness comes, it crawls”
And I believed every word.
Their love was a tale of cats and dogs
My parents would argue about raising me right
I have a brother
I am the first child
I adore feminine strength and regalia
My family should be called ‘The parallels’
I’d love my family to be tightly woven like knitted fabric
But it will take eternity.
