For Forgiveness

Forgiveness is a promise never to take offense
As you feel sorry for the one who did you wrong
An assault,mental or physical on my children
Never enough
A man who wished me dead
I forgave him stealing
But heaven will not forgive your breaking my faith, neither will I
Move on
When life laughs at you.
Instead of building an altar there
I’m grateful for family, writers and friends
