Focus: This Picture (II)

The oracle taught me
to learn how to ascend,
to reach a certain
place reserved only
for the chosen.
The path to this peak
is swallowing wholly
eggs with pain and sorrow
as albumen
with joy and happiness
as yolk.
Elasticity can mean that something
does not easily break,
it can stretch far like
rail tracks leading to heaven
for the passengers to face judgement.
I have learned to ascend
and now my mind is a lingerie
worn by nuns
that were lost but found
in the beds of priests.
