If i were my forefathers

I am calling you out by your name
Much has happened and I need you to blame.
I could easily wade it and take my pound of flesh
But the bruising is still fresh
And all goes undone.
I have a lot with your name engraved on
It has been a tireless run
On how I would have fought harder for peace
Without shredding the universe for a piece,
A piece of everything we had to burn.
If I were my forefather,
I wouldn’t do all they did
I would have saved the milky way with a good deed
I would have taught you how to cling to family
And a little more of humanity, then the world would be a better place but I am not my forefather.
