Wreckage

a drowning man
would not cling to straw at all
if only he knows
that he can live
in all the comfort that life can offer.
All he needs
is to let himself sink
to the bottom of the sea
like the dead man’s chest.
there is a wreckage
at the bottom of the sea
that is a castle
with chandeliers and fire,
with seahorses as knights on chess boards
with fire to keep warm
for anyone who lets himself drown.
