A sting at a time

the lord has plagued earth,
her sins are too much to bear
she must be punished
for knowing or not knowing
all that her children have done

we must go to church
and pray for the earth to heal
from her soul’s disease.
our faith won’t let it catch us
the sickness is for sinners.

‘avoid crowded sites’
the government has decreed
but prayer’s the key
and fellowship must be done
to avoid more of God’s curse.
