The Burning Water

Water that burns pours out from the eyes
of infants when they scream and cry.
I wish that their tears I can buy,
or drink it until it all dries.

When infants cry,
Burning water
Flows from their eyes,
And cause scalds
on hearts of
soft men like me.

“Water was never meant to dry,”
All thoughts contrary are but lies
to scare and tie infants to thighs
of hurt, despair and magic guise.

We’re just blind to
dry and burning water
pouring like rain
from butterflies,
Ladybugs,
and the roses.

Νερό που καίει
Δεν είναι καθόλου νερό.
