Where the stairs collapse

or strand of hair that is indispensable.
everything and everyone must die
when the time is come.
It always ends the way
you believe it will end.

only believers in death will die,
the rest of us will be in Valhalla
or Heaven or Aljana or Shamayim,
everyone in the place they’d hoped to be.
