For December


When this delight jingles a bell
My heart takes a break and a breath
See, this December smells like myrrh,
Burns like frankincense
And looks like the fresh leaves of Aloes
This December shines as the star they saw
Like a polished star it shines bright the more
It reminds of when
Grace was written as the Law
And The Salvation for all men
Came through a little boy.
This December, though an end,
Marks a new beginning,
This delight gives me hope for
Paradise, Rice and Chicken
