Today I am grateful

Soft thumps within my chest
Easy breaths of sweet breeze
Bountiful amount of joy to enjoy
Less worries, fewer wars
The blood that spurs me to life
Blood, kin, and friends alike
The glow; spark, smile and calm
The hobs, sobs, job and feet to hop
Roof and proof of address
Sound mind and will to choose right
Panics that have ceased to attack
The room to vent into a piece of art
Help that pops in mysterious ways
The hope and promises to come
For these and more I give my thanks.
