When it rains, it pours and the earth is blessed
It doesn’t help those who are swept by the flood
So we should do more than pray for the best.

True, we have given way to be oppressed
Things have been taken from us, even blood

Why are we still judged the way we are dressed
When we can clearly see whose white has mud?

Truth is, we are blindly behind the west
It’s give and take, and they want more of blood

It is quite true that we must face life’s test
We must be wary not to only scud

We lost our voice so we cannot protest
Our leaders have reduced us to mere duds
