My day(s) in a nutshell

Dogs begin to howl like wolves
beneath a full moon as church
bells chime to awaken faithfuls to pray.
My cat licks my face to wake me up,
I carry myself like a grudge
and drag me out of bed to the floor.
20 push ups and 20 sit ups, while Freya stares.
My mother sings a hymn,
the whole house assembles to hear her,
every Bible verse relates to me;
I hardly hear a word,
I think about the pigs that must be fed.
I talk with my father about the world.
I flow with the rest of the day.
Tomorrow we start all over again.
