My day(s) in a nutshell

Skip the 3:50 a.m. alarm like a rope
Wake up at 5:00 a.m. to think and workout
Missing breakfast has become a daily fast
Like polishing my shoes just before my performance;
Take a good look at myself in the mirror with words
Take a dump and have my bath
While I pray to match my shirt and tie colours
Mum remembers to fill me in on boring family event
To a cup of coffee, I help myself with good music
Rush out of the house to get to work late
A day rarely begins without a little traffic jam waiting
I switch the day up by laughing through cvs in my mailbox
The bank finds a way to host me every other day
In between whatever, I always find time for poetry
My intention to leave work early always comes late.
