Another part of me

I pretend to listen when I am lost in my head
I feel I am suffocating, in an enclosed space
I touch the sun when it rises
I worry that time is passing by
I cry when I feel like a caged bird
I am spontaneous and free-spirited

I understand words and the power they hold
I say I will be famous one day
I dream about the books and movies I will produce
I try to be friendly to people
I hope I find the kind of love I yearn for
