One Memory, One Child
As the day walked out of the night
So I crept out
Like newly laid chicks
Eager for a new day.
My first thought was my colourful laid out clothes
I went to the closet and confirmed .

Flicking it’s yellow tongue in all directions
With half a drum of rice seated on its head
Another half a drum of cow meat stew sang in its ears
The Carol, Every line memorised
The unified voice of the angels
Jingle bell rang in my heart
Mary’s boy, Jesus Christ ,say on my laps
And I,
Colourfully dressed,
A hip plate of rice
Too many pieces of meat,
It was Christmas day.
