CLIMB. LEAP. LOOK

I felt serenity kick in, an explorer’s luck.
The nimbly tingling at my finger tips
Phasing out every musk of surprise
I can’t tell how I knew her, it was deep-seated in me
But on my life, she must be the one.

I’ve wavered in doubt for days
Since my ears caught the rumours
My eyes watched him stutter amidst a sigh
My nose perceived his gold plated lie
Lips framed, afraid to let out a cry

Self sabotaged, spirit and soul searching
Side by side we stood, as I watch her yell her orders
Here goes my my husband’s mistress in my shopping spot,
She can’t tell who I am, I’m the existential ghost
So we locked eyes and pushed our carts in different directions.
