I OWE NO ONE

Debt grows up to become a noose
Around the neck with none to loose.
One is left with no words to say,
At a point where one cannot pay.

No matter how hard life becomes,
Do not seek for holes that are far.
Your hand and cream can drive your car
Without beating some unknown drums.

A life of satisfaction is
A pill to a life lived in debt,
A spoon of stone or wood is good
And no spoon at all is better
Than having no air in your lungs,
We’ve always learned to owe no one.
I’ve learnt to love myself and I.
