When We Are No More

If i die, i die
Know that i lived a lie.
I did what I didn’t have to.
This is a willing goodbye.

When we are no more
Nothing will remain
Water, land and beast
Would have crumbled underneath
Wives, husbands and concubines
Children and slaves all combined
In the beauty of nothing.
Wells and springs,
Oceans and sharks
There will be nothing everywhere
The gardens would shrivel
The nights would leave
The prophecy would have been wrong
We were never meant to live before we die.

If i die, i die
Know that i lived a lie.
I did what I didn’t have to.
This is a willing goodbye.
