their cause and talk for themselves,
you’ll drown in the tears you make.

You’ll cry and wail, gnashing teeth
you have not brushed in a while.
This confession room is being
handled by priests in the Nile.

“Half truth is not truth at all,”
but you knew this all along.
Now is too late for your guts;
