Songs About A Well

Bring flutes, cymbals clanging and good sound too
For bad thirst quenched.
For bad luck benched
Days become new.
Buried, black wealth
Within earth’s deep.
Nothing comes cheap
Success or health
One must pull through
Weather the storm, and never oversleep.

Leave the bed space for those who oversleep
They would come through
Cater for health
Nothing comes cheap
But from the deep
Resides man’s wealth
From earth comes new
Some were just benched,
Abruptly quenched.
From the well of life, draw life, and death too.
