The Hate You Give

The Bible was often meant for hearts that don’t understand miracles. Let’s look at the shape of words, the command in the waves, the ears of death and the resurrection of burnt stories, but in all of it, life is said to be a train and not the station. Love engines the traffic lights.

The commander won every battle he fought, came back with soldiers who were wounded in their souls. He attest’s to the conversation death holds when he is alone, sometimes drunk in his sorrows, especially a day before a battle. One day he tells me that thinking of all the things he hates, gives him courage to win his battles by miracles. He says ‘the heart is the fastest way to talk to God’, and maybe I believe him.
