Shawl of Time

As endless as the sand by the beach
But fickle like man trying to hold water
With baskets made out of palm leaves
Only a mad man tries to chase the wind.

Pay homage to the bees for their honey
Or you leave with an extra cause for money
Any who takes time knows not her value
And those in hurry usually end up late.

He that has ears, let him hear early
There are warm warning signs lurking
Around idly for those who would see,
listen and be saved from the chaos welling outside.

The shawl of time is wrapped around fresh minds,
Feeble feet, weary eyes and frail skin,
And those who seek to dip themselves
Within the boiling waters of life.

The gatekeeper to every Man’s life
He who knows when light become day
And how night was born in the dark
Time, the man who knows all our secret.
