My kind of prayer

17A060_488_0004_600

Prayers are meant to heal the sick,
To raise the dead and protect the
Living.

Sometimes it is for peace of mind,
Peace for the state and food for the
Hungry.

At night mothers plead with angels
To protect their children from bad
Demons.

For secret sins that man commit
He pleads like priests pray privately
To God.

Neighbors cursing their enemies.
The enemies pray and wait for
Blessings.

But my prayer is non if these;
For when I pray, I pray only
For truth.

Some days I pray for more of life.
Some nights I pray for this my breath
To cease.
