Russian Roulette

Fought my fears to create a dream.
Then came my thief to steal my wand,
Fed me with lies, to then abscond,
Quenching the light gracing my beam.

I lost the fight for self esteem,
Had enough but couldn’t correspond.
Fought my fears to create a dream,
Then came my thief to steal my wand.

Dreams already with a great scheme,
To drive me near, far and beyond,
But in my vague search for a pond;
I lost my water to a stream.
Fought my fears to create a dream.
