Where We Belong

On lips that knows better than lies
Eyes that see even through thin lines
In minds that know to read all signs
With peers that see need to be wise
And some that want nothing but rise
In hearts that learnt to forgive all
Joining hands, and legs to break wall
Pick up bricks, woods and build bridges
For us, for all build good ridges
For those that would rise when they fall.

In hearts that would love us for real
Treating us like they would themselves
Treat us like we’re humans ourselves
There is no love that is ideal
Just someone to build a will of steel
Assuring their heads they want it bad
enough not to die or run mad.
Where we belong is in our head
If we lay aside all we dread
Before long we all would be glad.
