Standing Tall

Standing tall like the Iroko tree,
Is one key lesson life has taught,
Fight wars, win, and don’t be scared to lose,
Even in pain, let you be free.

Took those words at the cost of no fee,
Some lessons can never be bought,
To heed or ignore, my choice to choose,
But life had things for me to see.

With teachings of life, I now agree,
I’ll live in a way to be sought,
I and happiness would not be loose
And I’ll enjoy my living spree.
