Don’t Stay For Me

We started this journey with roads unmatched,
boots wearing our feet in case the snake bites.
No one was asked to guard our fronts and backs.

We trusted in you with our fates attached,
or so you taught us, to look with incites.
The cockroach answers fowl, trees answer axe.

No map drawn with pure lies can be mismatched,
Even shadows run away during nights
Like our fathers do, cause their mud bore cracks.

Fix up the alone, let your hearts be scratched,
Implore gods pain, employ their shallow heights.
Wear forth the halo, it does fit the blacks

Staying is not a cause of redemption
Eden would have held abomination.
