Don’t Stay For Me

I know it would hurt much to see you leave
This must not be a complicated scene
There are some roads we cannot walk back from.

See how the tension mounts up with a heave
I cannot tell your state from your dark mien
Once upon your warm hugs has now turned numb.

Your pretty smile was once my joie de vive
To pry your lips open now seems like a sin
Well set gleaming teeth with a pinkish gum

Don’t do me a favour, I’ll bear my grieve!
Your conjured promises stick out as mean
Don’t kiss me softly while your inners squirm.

Ease up and let the wind pulled you away
Don’t you dare stay for me, be on your way!

Vera
