Don’t Stay For Me

You promised we’ll scale through & you’ll be here,
but my deeds still haunt me with words at night,
saying you deserve better than a cheat.

I know my emotions haven’t been fair,
you still stood by me like Camelot’s knight,
but making you cry was my worst defeat.

Just leave please, & go find happiness there,
I don’t deserve you, I’ll accept my plight,
go to where you’ll get a better retreat.

I’m not saying this to have freedom here,
I’m in pain losing a gem that glows bright,
one that played love tunes while I found no beat.

Go to somewhere better, don’t stay for me,
I’m yet to find myself, we’re not to be.
