Bury Seeds, Not People

In the hearts of men, spread kindness, and peace
The thoughts in many hearts are evil deeds
The smell of blood is pleasing to a few

The cry of the living dead would not cease
Like parts of a tree, we all have our needs
Footprints, blood stains are left in every shoe

We all should be friends like the police
Let’s put aside contempt, and grow like seeds
Love and oneness is pure faith, not taboo

Every slice of hatred is a sharp crease
One of a kind, but we turned into breeds
Brother against niece, it’s a bloody coup

Murder is the crippling of your own mind
Put you in strong chains, and your eyes they blind.

I have been glued to your page for a week now. At first, it was the titles that got me. I now look forward to what you’ll come up with ‘today’ and it has helped me greatly, to write and be inspired. I’m grateful.
