With all the strict setting?
When life is the best preacher
We make choices like we’re betting.

Holes are carved as we walk
Happiness greedily feeds on some
Hope gives us lines like chalk
How do we add to get the right sum?

Only those hit know how to dodge
Our mistakes are churned and pruned
Or hardship’s whip will nudge
Off your shoes if the heels are ruined.

Not knowing what lies ahead
New steps arise everyday
No need to give old tales head
Neighbors should learn from their yesterday.
