To the Orphan

As you know, slavery is a choice
Free your mind from those mental chains
your choice of thoughts would heal your pain

To questioning death, spare your voice
it’s a gift from nature to all
so raise your head and stand up tall

Life is a store, get the invoice
embracing pain is no shelter
eyes of the world doesn’t matter

Look after your kid sister, Joyce
I know you aim to be like me
destinies differ, let me be

Give yourself reasons to rejoice
make your history book worth reading
and don’t you ever stop winning.
