The Friends I Find In Bees

Buzz, buzz, buzz!
The sound from the comb,
All day, everyday.
Without fights or riots,
And no president to call them lazy.
For in the comb no one sleeps,
Not even the queen who lays.
There’s work on all angles and corners.
Nectar to be collected,
A few intruders to sting,
Birds to run away from,
Honey to make and protect,
With more colonies to be created.
These bees; my friends,
Have taught me a lot,
“Hard work and teamwork” they say,
“Will definitely make the dream work”.
