Stones and Mosses

I’ve combed before the hairs of stones
And mosses followed after,
They paired together like flesh on bones,
As if to give a good reason.
The mosses I know will climb on thrones
If stones were ever there.
They’ll ignore their tempers but control their zones,
They are careful to deal with the latter
And when the scaffolds fall, the walls, the moss still owns.
