A Jar Of Secrets

If deeds counted, then I’ve outdone myself.
With every bad deed?
My jar I would feed.
And when it is filled, I would keep it on the shelf.
Things I wouldn’t say and thought I wouldn’t share,
For feelings I wouldn’t mention and when I was too strong to shed a tear.

If you really want to know me,
The top of that shelf is where you should be.
Don’t be surprised what you find though,
When you see things I don’t show.
Others keep an album or go to drink it out at a bar.
I choose to tell the story of my life, by the seeds in my jar.
