The opposite of love is love

The excuse for the stupid things we do
Is what Love is
When we forgo things important to us
For a brief bliss
A taste from heaven and a pinch from hell,
It’s bitter sweet
A lot of people want to have a feel
Of the love heat
I’m sitting here thinking of what to write
Love’s a bit hard
to define no doubt, and the other side
Can be so bad
But if the other side of Love is Love
How can writing about it be so tough
