Between The Rules And The Ruler

The ruler can inflict pain to your back.
This can not be said of the rule,
Unless you give the rule to the ruler,
Whose true intention was never to rule.

True rules are good rules
These rules are not just for the ruled .
They are what checks the ruler
They are the reasons we accepted the supposed rules.

I have been a breaker of rulers and of rules.
Survival for me is tricky when there are rules.
I am a very stiff rule
No wonder i detest our rulers.

In cages we remain because of rules.
In bondage we drown because of
clueless rulers.
Very little good has come from rulers and rules.

It is wise that we should have a leader and not just a ruler,
It will be beautiful if we live forgetting the rules.
It was never said “let there be rules”
Who told us we needed a ruler?
