Poetry: The Last Drop of Kindness

She saw life as more than life.
She was my, our super human.
She will pray and we knew God would answer.
She knew pain and it knew her.
She had scars but wore them with pride.
She lived for a while and made her mark.

When I felt it was good to be bad
She would say ” if you love me , be at least kind.”
She was caught in a twist of time and fate.
She took my place.
She saved me with her last drop of kindness.
Now everything makes perfect sense.
