Poetry: Be Thankful For Nothing

A phase is reoccurring.
We’ve been here before.
Paraphrasing.
One two three and four.
Stay ready.
Given out as expected in return.
Little for little.
Less for much.

Shivers down the spine.
A half broken bone of Adam.
Half bitten apple of Eve.
Torturing waters flowing through Tabor and Gilgad.
Through the valley of the shadow of death.
Crawling like an infant 0-9.
Spiteful, dreading deceit.
Spitting fire like a dragon kissing its teeth.
One bite and all is seen.

A phase is reoccurring.
And we’ve been here before.
Naked, bathed.
Perky breast of Eve, fractured ribs of Adam from where she was formed.
All seeing eye.
Nothing left to be thankful for.
Wisdom we acquired and traded our soul for what wisdom isn’t.
