What’s left is a Wrinkle

Beautiful days have come and gone
The sun’s set, never to return
Who would fields blame for being dry?
Now we dream our dreams in fractions
Damn! These flaws in our reflections

Roses grow and sparkle with fun
Don’t we also set like the sun?
Corals shine when the sun is bright
When beauty’s really beautiful
The frenzy can make one a fool

The glory of glorious days
Spent in very frivolous ways
How do you get back a spilled milk?
The sun rises knowing it’ll wane
Humans doing same will be sane
