Jennifer Dafwat has developed her interest in serving her community through active participation and constructive contributions to various developmental women-related activities. She has clearly demonstrated a good understanding of community, health and environmental issues as it affects women and girls in her immediate environment and even the continent at large.

Her background in English Language, and having schooled in a conflict prone society (Jos), where women and girls suffer more during conflict situations, has greatly influenced her interest in promoting peace, justice and equity for women and girls within the society.

She is an advocate of sexual and gender balance, good governance, peaceful co-existence, sexual and reproductive rights, mutual relationship and respect for others’ opinions.
