Might I Be Excused, Please?

There’s something about honesty
that is not honest in the dark.
The face we make to keep safe in the light
And the yimu when we have the chance to.

None can really stand out to say,
“I am me inside and outside”
At one point, we are real Men
At another we are ordinary shadows
Subject to will, emotions and the intensity of light
So might I be excused, please?
