Same Road


He much hated his father’s rage
But could do nothing at that stage
Couldn’t wait till he came of age
To stand and defend his mother
She always said not to bother
That his dad isn’t a monster
He grew older and left his house
Settled in Rome and got a spouse
And promised to keep to his vows
He didn’t realize his roots
That demon seeds also have fruits
Until he kicked her with his boots
His mom had said rage is a load
If you don’t face it, you can explode
He found himself on the same road
